Overview
The Dry Dive Software System is a purpose-built video platform for dry-land diving. It enables coaches and athletes to increase training volume safely, gain more repetitions per session, and receive immediate high-quality visual feedback. By combining reliable hardware integration with intelligent coaching tools, Dry Dive transforms every springboard, trampoline, or harness station into a high-performance learning environment.
Why Dry Dive Matters
Dry-land training is where divers build technique, refine mechanics, and master the hurdle step. The faster an athlete can review a movement, the faster they can correct it. Dry Dive removes the delays and distractions that slow coaching sessions.
More repetitions. More insights. More progress.
Key Advantages
Instant Feedback for Faster Skill Development
- Multiple camera feeds arrive over PoE for simple installation and consistent performance.
- Each camera can be configured with its own replay delay (approximately eight seconds).
- Video tiles can be shown in a quad layout on a 4K display or on individual screens next to each apparatus.
- Settings load automatically, allowing sessions to begin immediately without technical setup.
Powerful Tools for Technique Analysis
- Freeze-frame, single-screen instant replay, real-time playback, slow-motion loops.
- On-screen drawing tools for marking angles, body alignment, and technical focus points.
- Overlay mode for text notes or educational media (images or videos) on any screen.
- All media stored centrally so that the head coach can standardise teaching content.
Mobile Control for Modern Coaching
- Coaches scan a QR code in the training area to access controls on their mobile devices.
- Enables hands-on coaching without returning to the central console.
- Ideal for small groups or individual technical work.
Built-In Safety and Responsible Data Handling
Event Capture for Safety Oversight
- Dry Dive includes a dedicated safety button that allows authorised personnel to preserve footage when required.
- When Record Event is selected, the system saves the previous fifteen minutes of footage from all cameras.
- These recordings remain on the local machine only. Access is limited to officials responsible for safety management and incident review.
Local Video Access Only
The system displays delayed live video from connected cameras solely on screens within the Dry-Dive area. The footage never leaves the local network.
Designed for UK GDPR Compliance
Dry Dive's architecture, access controls, and offline operation are designed to support compliance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR. No internet connection is required, and all data stays securely contained within the facility.
Engineered for Reliability
- Runs on a dedicated system with an NVIDIA graphics card for smooth multi-camera playback.
- Operates fully offline using a local licence key.
- Available in windowed or kiosk mode for flexible installation in clubs, universities, and high-performance centres.
Outcome: More Productive Training Sessions
Dry Dive is built to help divers master fundamentals, refine biomechanics, and accelerate skill acquisition.
Better technique. Better confidence. Better performance.
